REEL 3161: Two v. of the journal "The Lively Arts/West," numbered folio 1 and 2, an intended publication of the Organization of Art Sponsors. The journals include information about the Organization of Art Sponsors; a biographical sketch of the journal's editor, Esther Waggoner Robles; and reports on California artists, galleries, and museums.

Biographical/Historical Note: A non-profit group created to support and promote contemporary artists and galleries in the Los Angeles area. Esther Waggoner Robles was president, as well as editor of "The Lively Arts/West."

The 2 journals on reel 3161 were donated in 1973 by Esther Waggoner Robles. Her widower, Robert Robles, donated the 6 ft. of unmicrofilmed records in 2002.
