Lossing, Samuel F.B. Morse, James Craig Nicoll, Director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Count Luigi Palma di Cesnola, Rubens Peale, John, Emily and William Sartain, Henry Ossawa Tanner, Abbott Handerson Thayer, art critic Henry T. Tuckerman, Stanford White, Worthington Whittredge, and others.
