Biographical/Historical Note: Art historian, Los Angeles, Calif. Gedeon completed her Master's Degree on the work of White in the History of Art at UCLA in 1981. Charles W. (Wilbert) White; b. Apr. 2, 1918, Chicago, Ill.; d. Oct. 3, 1979; African American painter.
