Biographical/Historical Note: Cooperative art gallery; Provincetown, Mass. Founded in 1977 in the upper storey of the American Legion building at Howland and Commercial Sts. Closed in 1998. Founding members included Varujan Boghosian, Fritz Bultman, Carmen Cicero, Sideo Fromboluti, Edward Giobbi, Budd Hopkins, Rick Klauber, Leo Manso, Robert Motherwell, Paul Resika, Judith Rothschild, Sidney Simon, Nora Speyer, and Tony Vevers.
Donated 1999 by Rosalind Pace, the last director of the gallery.
