Collection Summary: A photograph (b&w) of Lili Blumenau at work at a loom, taken by David Vestal, undated; and a certificate "In Recognition of Public Service" issued by the United States Department of State to Blumenau for her "assistance in the American program for the Brussels Universal and International Exhibition, 1958."

Biographical/Historical Note: Fiber artist.

Donated 2001 by the American Craft Museum as part of the Nanette L. Laitman Documentation Project for Craft and Decorative Arts in America. [It is unclear to the Museum why the documents were in their files, and there is not indication whether the photograph was taken at the Brussels Exhibition or whether the two items are related.]
