Collection Summary: Research material compiled by the Prescotts concerning artists James Chapin, Dorothea S. Greenbaum, Burgoyne Diller, Jack Levine, Sam Maitin, and Elizabeth Olds, and to a lesser degree Byron Browne, Richard Anuszkiewicz, Jose de Creeft, Lorrie Goulet, Richard Hunt, and Hunt Slonem. Also found are artist-made Christmas cards and other art work from various artists sent to the Prescotts.
Artists files consist of biographical information, photographs and slides, writings, correpsondence, and printed material.
Biographical/Historical Note: Kenneth Prescott (1920- ) is an art historian and author in San Antonio, Tex. Prescott's wife, Emma-Stina is also an art historian.
Donated 1987-2010 by Kenneth and Emina-Stina Prescott.
