Biographical/Historical Note: Art historian, educator, Bennington, Vt. Eminent scholar of Rubens. Worked as an advisor to art collectors, including J. Paul Getty.

Held wrote an catalog introduction on Baizerman for a 1953 exhibition at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minn.
