Biographical/Historical Note: Joyce Kozloff is a painter and mosaic artist who was represented by the Gladstone Gallery in New York. Kozloff was born in 1942 in Somerville, New Jersey. She received a M.F.A. from Columbia University in 1967 and has taught at the School of Visual Arts in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, Cooper Union (New York), and Rutgers University, and exhibited widely.

Donated 1996 by Barbara Gladstone, Barbara Gladstone Gallery, and in 2014 by Joyce Kozloff.
