Biographical/Historical Note: Painter, portrait painter; Taos, New Mexico. Born in Glasgow, Scotland. Studied at the Royal Academy with Alma-Tadema and Sargent. Came to the U.S. in 1913.

Lent for microfilming by Woodrow Wilson Fine Arts, Inc., 1984, as part of the Archives of American Art's Texas project.
