Description: Brief note from Church reads: This is a photo of [a] painting I gave to the fund for the Relief of discharged employees of the Stock Exchange. It brot [sic] $500.
The photo depicts a painting of a family of bears, and is annotated in pen: Mother's return, copyright F. S. Church.
The letter is also illustrated with an ink sketch of two bears, one playing the banjo and the other dancing.
Donated 1966 by Cummer Gallery of Art, Jacksonville, Fla., who received it from "a lady in Jacksonville."
