Biographical/Historical Note: Susan Cummins (1946- ) is a former gallery owner and art dealer in Mill Valley, Calif. Cummins owned and operated the Susan Cummins gallery from 1984-2002. Mija Riedel (1958- ) worked at the Susan Cummins gallery with Cummins for 16 years.

This interview is part of the Archives of American Art Oral History Program, started in 1958 to document the history of the visual arts in the United States, primarily through interviews with artists, historians, dealers, critics and administrators.
