Identification on accompanying label (handwritten and typewritten): Guevara, Susan: 32959 stone; PICKING ROCKS -- Using rocks picked up practically anywhere, Miss Guevara works them into overal design, which may either be a semi-realistic portrait or an abstract scuplture. She fixes them to boards with special paste, then adds color as desired.
