Have bicycled down here from Florence over hills like those in Piero della Francesco. We ride tomorrow to Arezzo to see works of the latter. God, what marvelous pictures and architecture in Italy!! We will be in Paris in a week. Cloudless skies – warm – springlike – when, if ever do we rate a letter? R.”
