Creator: William Theo Brown (1919-)

Description: Scrapbook has been disbound into 16 loose sheets with sketches in pencil, pen and ink and watercolor, as well as a few block prints.
Artworks depict people, architecture, animals, and landscapes. Several are signed by Brown and dated in the early 1930s.
The initial page has a handwritten note which reads: Wm. Theo Brown, Intervale, W.T. Brown done Summer 1934 in Intervale, and other early stuff.
Only three selected pages have been scanned: a sheet of various portrait sketches, a pencil drawing of a girl playing the piano, and a program featuring a block print of pianos for a 1936 recital by William T. Brown and Joyze E. Sutherland.
