George Pearse Ennis making a charcoal cartoon for one of the panels of a stained glass window executed under the direction of the WPA Federal Art Project and recently installed in Washington Hall, the mess hall of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. Originally designed by Mr. Ennis (and at his death carried on by Archibald H. Sawyer and Oscar H. Julius; at Mr. Sawyer's death completed by Mr. Julius). The Mural will be officially presented to Major General Connor, Commandant of the Academy by Audrey McMahon, Assistant to Holger Cahill, in informal ceremonies this Saturday afternoon, October 2nd.
