Description: Fragments of two plays published as part of John Bell's series titled British theatre.
The plays are: The Grecian daughter by Arthur Murphy; and Isabella, or The fatal marriage by Thomas Southerne.
For each play the Archives has: the title page, the list of characters, and an engraved illustration of Sarah Siddons in the title role (Euphrasia and Isabella). Additionally, there is a page of the prologue to The Grecian daughter, and a page with the heading "Advertisement."
