Description: Identification on accompanying note attached to verso (typewritten): Cleveland School of Art at East 55th St. Faculty and Students; about 1898-9-1900; school in the Old Kelly homestead on the east side of Wilson Ave (now East 55th St.); third from right standing - J.H. Donahey, (became political cartoonist for the Plain Dealer); third from right of the tree - Grace Walsh, (did decorating for Louis Rorimer Company); next to the tree on the right - May Ames (taught painting and art history at the new school on Juniper Drive & Magnolia); fourth from left - Georgia Leighton Norton, (principle [sic] of the school); extreme left, Frederick Carl Gottwald (life drawing & painting instructor); Grace Kelly started teaching at the new school about 1908 and is not in this photo.
