Description: Book contains many sketches of Rockport, Maine, focused largely on the fishing industry. There are also portrait sketches and sketches of fine houses and estates, including 3 sketches labeled as depicting the studio of Frederick Hall in East Gloucester, Mass.
Only one representative page, a sketch of fishermen hauling in a huge fish, has been scanned.
Sketches are primarily in graphite, with some instances of colored pencil.
