Collection Summary: A marriage certificate, 1926; notes concerning "The Modern Dilema in Art," an essay "Music and the Fourth Dimension"; writings about Belmont, 1969-1971, by his wife, Elsie; a receipt; photographs of Belmont and his art work, and slides of his color music expressions; a sketchbook and 18 sketches; exhibition catalogs and announcements, 1924-1951; clippings, 1929-1964; and a copy of The Manifestodes Peintres du Groupe "Les Artistes Musicalists." Seventy-two subject files contain Elsie Belmont's letters to various museums asking them to accept her husband's work, and some information on her gallery, The Belmont Galleries, 1941-1982.
