Biographical/Historical Note: Painter, instructor; Paris, Kentucky and Paris, France. Hill studied and lived in Paris, knew Rosa Bonheur and painted in the Barbizon. She did a series of portraits of Bourbon County, Ky. judges, and taught china painting as well. She lived in Paris, Ky. from 1900 until her death.

The lender, William Dudley, is the great-nephew of the artist.
