Biographical/Historical Note: Harold Walter Grieve was a well-known interior designer in Los Angeles, Calif., and a friend of Woodward's from childhood. Grieve used many of Woodward's paintings in the homes he designed, among them the homes of celebrities George Burns and Gracie Allen, and Jack Benny.
