Biographical/Historical Note: Harold Dunbar (1882-1953) was a portrait and mural painter of Belmont and Chatham, Mass. Dunbar also worked in New York. He conducted summer art classes in Chatham, Massachusetts, from 1915 on.

The donor, Elliot Orr, was a friend of Dunbar.
