Biographical/Historical Note: Gyula Zilzer (1898-1969) was a painter, printmaker, illustrator, and film designer in Hollywood, California and New York, New York. Born in Budapest, Hungary. Studied at the Hans Hofmann School in Munich.

Donated by Mrs. Mary Zilzer, widow of Gyula Zilzer, 1970.
