Writings include copies of the manuscripts for "La Peinture d'Exploration," an article by Malkine, 1926, and A BORD DU VIOLON DE MER (in French), a book written and illustrated by Malkine, published in 1977. Also included is a book about Malkine (in French), by Patrick Waldberg, 1970.

Biographical/Historical Note: Surrealist painter and writer. Died 1970.

Donated 1991 and 1992 by Fern S.L. Malkine, daughter of Georges Malkine.
