Collection Summary: 36 personal and business letters received from artists, dealers, collectors, and friends, and one letter written by Greenman; the manuscript of Greenman's autobiography, HIGHER THAN THE SKY, 1954; eighteen exhibition catalogs and announcements; ca. 65 sketches and drawings in pencil, charcoal or ink, five lithographs, one gouache, a sketchbook of studies of the Rhine; 83 photographs of Greenman's works, among them 1 self-portrait and 1 portrait each of Dewey E. Albinson, George B. Bridgman, Howard Green, W. Elmer Schofield, and William Zorach ; and ca. 180 newspaper clippings. Among the correspondents are William Zorach, and his wife.
