1972 acquisition: Photographs and printed material relating to a United Nations commission titled "Aspiration," as well as photographs of other Martinelli sculpture; catalogs; magazines; and clippings.

Biographical/Historical Note: Painter and sculptor, Saugerties, N.Y. Taught at Philadelphia Museum School, Sarah Lawrence College, Parsons School of Design, American Academy at Rome, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.

Donated 1972 and 1974 by Ezio Martinelli.
