Collection Summary: Twenty-one letters, 1931-1972 from actress Joan Crawford, Chief Justice Earl Warren, Jocyline (Mrs. James L.) Buckley, and others, complimenting Haupt's portrait work, and three letters from lawyer E. Smythe Gambrell relating to a portrait of William B. Woods. In addition, there are photographs of Haupt and of his work, a group of etchings of Annapolis, Maryland with text by William O. Stevens, an invitation list for a party given by Ambassador Farland in honor of Haupt, and catalogs and clippings.
