The Jervis McEntee Diaries - May 8, 1888

Diary Entry:

Tuesday, May 8, 1888 I spent most of the day painting the floor of the downstairs kitchen. Sara went to a tea party at the Ludlums. I was too tired to go. Tom has been planting the rest of the potatoes yesterday and today. I came away by the 7.45 train which was 40 minutes late at Kingston and did not reach my room until midnight.
