The Jervis McEntee Diaries - May 9, 1887
Diary Entry:
Monday, May 9, 1887 Tom is at work in the garden getting ready to plant potatoes and it is very warm. I carried Mrs. Folants plans down to her and feel I have discharged that duty. She wants to go on with her building at once. Then I went down town and had my hair cut. I took off the double windows and the outside doors which still remained on and carried them down to the carriage house and was very tired at night. I cannot work as I used to and yet there seems more than ever for me to attend to.
