The Jervis McEntee Diaries - March 25, 1887

Diary Entry:

Friday, Mar 25, 1887 Took up one of my Shokan subjects which I have tried several times to make a picture of and painted on it with indifferent success. I like to study out such problems to find out if I can what the difficulty is. A letter came from Selstedt saying the Treasurer of the fund from which my picture was bought was away from home and he would send the money when he returned.
