Diary Entry:

Wednesday, Dec 2, 1885 Worked most of the day on the brook picture which I am repainting and I think I am constantly improving it. Mary, Calvert and Marion were invited out to dine and Bowyer and I dined alone. I read until after 10 oclock, then took a walk and came to my room.
