The Jervis McEntee Diaries - April 17, 1885

Diary Entry:

Friday, Apr 17, 1885 Went home by 10 oclock train and attended Mr. Willis' funeral as one of the bearers. His death was very sad for I heard his illness was caused by business anxiety. He has left a wife and two children to struggle through life he I am afraid having been unable to make any provision for them.
