Diary Entry:

Thursday, Aug 31, 1882 Again has come the last day of summer. Rains a little this evening. Went down town this morning and did a little work in the shop this afternoon. Mrs Washburn the Episcopal clergymans wife called. Wrote to Dr. Pelton. Tom is drawing the winter coal.
