The Jervis McEntee Diaries - August 16, 1882
Diary Entry:
Wednesday, Aug 16, 1882 Staid at Fouquet House and left by boat (Vermont) at 7 for Ticonderoga. Wind blew hard all day. Rail over to Lake George and up the lake by boat. Stopped at [?] Henry hotel. Saw Bowyer. Told me his mother was five miles down the lake. After supper got a man to drive me there and had an hour with them. Hard shower coming back.
