Diary Entry:

Friday, Dec 2, 1881 A pleasant day but with a sting in the air. The work went on well and approaches completion. Girards wife sent for me this evening and told me her anxieties about him. I dont know what to do with people who are determined to destroy their happiness and the peace of every one connected with them.
