Diary Entry:
Gifford, George & I went fishing. To the dam by canal & by the road to trout hole and the Millinoket about 4 miles. We fished at the wrong time of day but caught 6 fine ones and were satisfied there were large ones there. Clouds of black flies. Broke my rod. Arrived at camp at 7.
