The Jervis McEntee Diaries - August 11, 1879
Diary Entry:
Went up to Churchs by 2 oclock train. He had done to N.Y. on Friday but was expected home Tuesday evening. Tuesday Mrs. Church and I went to Hudson and lunched with Mary Gifford. Her mother had gone to the sea shore but her father was there and Katy Wilkinson as well as Alices little baby a darling, plump little thing who walks all about. We saw her last year when Gertrude and I went to Boston, only about three months old then.
