Collection Summary: Rich expresses his pleasure at having met Jannis and Zoe Spyropoulous in Athens, Greece and describes the painting by Jannis that he purchased for the Worcester Art Museum.
Biographical/Historical Note: Museum administrator and lecturer; died 1976. Rich held many positions at the Art Institute of Chicago and was director of the Worcester (Mass.) Art Museum, 1958-1970. Emily Nathan was a public relations consultant, and also worked for the Archives of American Art.
