    Letters are from Rudy Autio, Harry Bertoia, Karen Johnson Boyd, Olen Bryant, Philip Burton, Maryette Charlton, William P. Daley, Richard Devore, Angela Fina, Joseph Hurley, Akiko Kotani, Jack Lenor Larsen, Bill McVey, Joan Mondale, George Nakashima, Isamu Noguchi, Lee Nordness, Alice Parrott, Viktor Schrekengost, David and Ann Shaner, Brooke Shields, Hedda Sterne, Lenore Tawney, Frans Wildenhain, Hisashi Yamada, and others. Photographs and slides are of Takaezu, her family, friends and work, and of her opening exhibitions; a motion picture film, "Yu-me" transferred to VHS and well as four VHS tapes, "Toshiko Takaezu: Portrait of An Artist", 1993, "Ballet Toshiko: The Art of Inspiration", 1996, "Toshiko Takaezu: A Potters Work," 1997, and "Toshiko Takaezu: At Home," 1998. Printed material includes exhibition catalogs and announcements; brochures; and clippings. Also included are miscellaneous files on commissions, galleries, exhibitions, and workshops; files on a book, "Maija Grotell: Works Which Grow From Belief", by Jeff Schlanger and Takaezu; and awards, medals, and certificates for an honorary degree.

    Donated 1978 and 2006 by Toshiko Takaezu. Additions are expected.
