Letters, business records, and printed material. REEL 3898: Papers regarding the Young Men's and Women's Hebrew Association Arts Council gathered by Judith Golden, who served the organization in various capacities. Included are files on Art Council sponsored events, 1967-1971, which contain correspondence, clippings and printed material; minutes of meetings, 1969-1970; printed miscellany, including posters and broadsides, 1968-1980; a history of the organization, clippings on programs; membership lists; and information used in writing grants to support programs. Judy Golden papers (microfilm title). REEL 4340: A six-page catalog for the 1962 exhibit "Art 1963-A New Vocabulary" in the form of typeset proofsheets which include brief biographies written by the artists; and a souvenir postcard folder for the 1966 exhibit "How the West Has Done" which illustrates 13 of the exhibited works.
Location of Originals: REEL 3898: Originals returned to the lender, Judith Golden, after microfilming. REEL 4340: Originals in the National Museum of American Art Vertical File.
Records on reel 3898 lent for microfilming 1986 by Judith Golden. Material on reel 4340 donated 1986 by Acey Wolgin, an early member of the Arts Council, was transferred to the vertical file of the National Museum of American Art after microfilming.
