    Mahonri Young sketchbook, 1930-1937

    Sketchbook created for Isabelle Manship, wife of sculptor Paul Manship, with an inscription dated March 16, 1930, containing sketches of animals, birds, Indians, nudes, construction workers, peasants, and other subjects, including a sketch of a Pekinese, dated February 7, 1937, which was assumed to have been added by Young during a visit to Manship.

    Location of Originals: Originals returned to lender after microfilming.

    Lent for microfilming 1993 by Isabel Natti, granddaughter of Isabelle Manship.
