    A diploma, 1881; letters, undated and 1890-1961, from Albert Bushnell Hart, William Morris Hunt, Henry James, Alfred Noyes, Howard Pyle, Anne Ritche, Ross Turner, Mary Cassatt and Childe Hassam; 14 charcoal, watercolor, and oil sketches; a sketchbook, ca. 1870; and photographs of Lamb and of her paintings.

    Hunt writes to Lamb (reel 1309), from Albany, New York, 1878, describing in detail his work on the painting of murals in the Capitol building at Albany (8 letters), and from North Easton, Mass., he discusses painting some portraits in that town (1 letter).

    Location of Originals: Cassatt and Hassam letters: Originals in Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

    Donated 1980-1985 by Aimee and Rosamond Lamb nieces of Rose Lamb.
