Letters, postcards, interviews, exhibition announcements and catalogs, photographs, and miscellaneous material arising from Kohen's friendships with artists and her work as art critic for the Miami Herald.

Letters, 1978-1995, are mostly concerning exhibitions and openings, as well as responses to Kohen's reviews of art shows in the Miami Herald, with the majority of the letters from Carol Anthony, Marilyn Gottlieb-Roberts and Esphyr Slobodkina (as well as one letter from Kohen to Slobodkina); among the others are Michael Blaine, Pablo Cano, Maria Castagliola, James M. Couper, Miguel Cubiles, Claudia DeMonte, Fernando Garcia, Shirley Henderson, Andrew Morgan, Celia Alvarez Muñoz, Noella and Enrique Riverón, Arturo Rodriguez, Damian Rojo, Lydia Rubio, Emilio Sanchez, Bill Schaaf, G.L. Sullivan, and César Trasobares.

Interviews, 1986-1995, are with 74 artists, many of them Latino, primarily Cuban and Haitian, photographers, arts administrators, dealers, collectors, and others (on 82 microcassettes), among them Jane Alexander, Carlos Alfonso, Mario Algaze, José Bedia, Wendy Blazer, María Brito, Margarita Cano, Edouard Duval-Carrié, Ramon Carulla, Matthew Corone, Suzanne Delehanty, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Agustin Fernández, John Frohnmayer, Lynn Golub Gelfman, Barbara Gillman, Juan Gonzalez, Marta Gutierrez, Pat Jones, Roberto Juarez, Janet Kardin, Guillermo Kuitca, Bianca Lanza, Annie Leibovitz, Marisol, Celia Muñoz, Cristina Orr-Cahall, Nam June Paik, Janet Paparelli, Gina Pellon, Demi and Arturo Rodriguez, Vivian Rodriguez, Lydia Rubio, Jason Rubell, Baruj Salinas, Kenny Scharf, Haydée and Sahara Scull, Joel Shapiro, David Spitzer, Barbara Strasser, Dora Valdez-Fauli, and others.

Photographs, b&w, were taken 1980-1989 of Marilyn Gottlieb-Roberts' and a scene from her performance piece "Southeast Portrait."
