Correspondence (1968-1983) concerning the Igoes' book 250 YEARS OF AFRO-AMERICAN ART: AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY; correspondence with Elias Newman, president of the Artists Equity Association, and others regarding the Federal Tax Reform Act of 1969 and its effect on artists; and three artist files (1968-1984) containing correspondence and printed material concerning Allen Fannin, Osmond Guy, and Raymond Lark; a receipt for art materials from Yates & CO., San Francisco, July 25, 1883; letters, 1977-1994, to Norman Pendergraft from Romare Bearden, Samuel J. Brown, Selma Burke, Avel de Knight, Elton C. Fax, Bill Huston, Vincent Smith, and Joshua C. Taylor. Also included are twenty slides of the works of Bernard Wright, six business cards, three fliers concerning children's books, and a photocopy of "The Negro and the Atlanta Exposition" (1869) by Alice M. Bacon.
