    Gary Falk papers, [circa 1968-2006] (bulk 1968-1986)

    Biographical material; files concerning gallery exhibitions and fellowship proposals; photographs and slides; lists of works of art; works of art; printed material; and miscellaneous regarding assemblage artist, Gary Falk. Biographical material includes a 1968 yearbook with classmates signatures, membership cards, a passport, an obituary, eulogies, and a typescript of "Retrospective: Portrait of a Forever Young Artist," a memoir written by Lillian Falk about Falk. Files concerning gallery exhibitions and fellowhip proposals include the Rosa Esman Gallery, Bette Stoler Gallery, Museo Tamayo, Corcoran Gallery of Art, New Museum of Contemporary Art, and others. Photographs are of Falk and others and Falk's works of art. Also included is a compact disc containing 71 images of works in permanent collections, along with an index of those works. Works of art include sketchbooks and sketches. Printed material includes exhibition catalogs, announcements, flyers and newspaper clippings. Also included are a Rolodex and a 1983-1984 day planner and address book.

    Donated 2005 and 2007 by Lillian Falk, Gary Falk's mother.
