    Four letters and a note from Samuel Cousins to various people, one of which is to Thomas Sully enclosing proofs of engravings; a 5-page holograph poem by Palmer Cox; a poem by Christopher P. Cranch and a letter requesting that his poems be printed because he is "much in need of money"; and a letter from Felix O. C. Darley about the cast of "McClellan."

    Location of Originals: Originals in the New York Public Library, Manuscript Division.

    Microfilmed 1956 by the Archives of American Art with other art-related papers in the Manuscript Division of the New York Public Library. Included in the microfilming project were selected papers of the Art Division and the Prints Division.
