Family photographs, ca. 1883-ca. 1911, by noted photographers Arnold Genthe, Frances Benjamin Johnston, Gertrude Kasebier, Edward Steichen, and Alfred Stieglitz; a scrapbook of Caffin's columns for the NEW YORK AMERICAN, 1913-1915, autographed and illustrated published play scripts, miscellaneous printed material; and a transcript and written summary of a 1973 interview with Caffin's daughter, Donna Layton, conducted by Wanda Corn and Deborah Loft. Family photographs are of Charles Henry Caffin, wife Caroline, their daughters Donna and Freda, his mother Hariet C. Caffin, actor Ben Greet.
Material on reel 1052 donated by Caffin's daughter, Donna Layton, 1974. The unmicrofilmed material donated 1985 by Stephen Rockstroh, Caffin's son-in-law, 1985.
