REEL 440 AND SCANNED Two photographs, one a profile of Schwieder and the other of him teaching a class, both which were previously microfilmed under Photos of Artists and have since been scanned and returned to the Schwieder papers.
Biographical/Historical Note: Painter, muralist, illustrator, and teacher; New York, N.Y. Founded the Arthur Schwieder Group in 1928 as an art colony and art school.
Donated 1962 by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schwieder.
