Collection Summary: Gallery records (41 ft.) and Morris Broderson papers (7 ft.) maintained by Joan Ankrum, his aunt and dealer. Gallery records consist primarily of artists' files, containing invoices for sales of artwork, correspondence, photographs, exhibition announcements and catalogs. Included in the Morris Broderson material are six (6) albums containing photographs of art work by Broderson.

Biographical/Historical Note: Art gallery; Los Angeles, Calif. Operated by Joan Ankrum. Ankrum was also the principal dealer for four decades of her nephew Morris Broderson, and took care of him (Broderson is deaf) as well. d. at age 88 on December 20, 2001 .
