55 sketches and two sketchbooks from Sicliy and Italy, 1959 and undated; letters and postcards, ca. 1958-1959, from Burbank who signed his letters "Petey", to his wife Covelle. Also included is a list of his paintings and their owners as of 1975, provided in a letter written by his widow.

Biographical/Historical Note: Addison Burbank (1898-1961) was a painter and writer in New York, N.Y.

Donated 1975 and 2007 by Covelle Newcomb Burbank, widow of Addison Burbank. The 1975 material was filmed on reel 892.
